James Farnsworth is the executive director of the Highland Business Association and an avid community volunteer. Previously, he served in various roles in non-profits, state government, and the private sector.
Farnsworth serves on the board of directors and governance committee of CAPI, an immigrant and refugee support organization. He also serves on the school committee of the Friends School of Minnesota, a K-8 school in St. Paul. In addition to board service, Farnsworth is actively involved as a year-round advisor and volunteer with the YMCA Center for Youth Voice.
Farnsworth has completed coursework in human resource development in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He lives in the Summit-University neighborhood of St. Paul.
