James Farnsworth works as a senior program director for the YMCA Center for Youth Voice and chairs the national Youth and Government Program Alliance. He holds seasonal positions with the Minnesota House of Representatives and Minnesota State Fair.
In addition to University service, Farnsworth is actively involved as a community volunteer in several different capacities.
Farnsworth has completed coursework in human resource development in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where he served in leadership positions with the Minnesota Student Association, University Senate, and Student Services Fees Committee.
